How It Works — Technical Details

🔵 .NET Runtime Patching

Terraria is built on .NET/XNA. KizarMenu uses the CLR Profiling API to hook managed methods at the JIT level — specifically Player.Hurt(), Item.Pick() and Projectile.AI(). This is more stable than raw memory patching across game updates.

🎒 Item Spawning

In single player, items are spawned by calling Item.NewItem() directly through the hooked runtime. In multiplayer, we inject a crafting result packet that the server treats as a valid recipe completion — limited to obtainable items to avoid server flagging.

🗺️ Map Reveal

The full map reveal sets all entries in the Main.Map array to discovered state. This is purely cosmetic on the client — the server never validates map discovery state, so it's completely safe in any mode.

Pro Tips

Best settings for boss farming ▼

Enable God Mode + Infinite Ammo, then spawn bosses with Boss Spawn Override. With god mode you can test any weapon's DPS without dying, and infinite ammo lets you use endgame weapons on fresh characters.

Can I use item spawning in multiplayer? ▼

On vanilla servers: only use "craftable items" mode which restricts spawning to normally obtainable items. On modded servers or your own server: full item spawning works without issue.

How to get through Hardmode easier ▼

Use Map Reveal to find the Underground Jungle and Dungeon immediately, then enable Speed Multiplier (3×) to reach them fast. God Mode + Infinite Ammo lets you farm any hardmode enemy for drops.

Using No Clip for building ▼

No Clip is the best tool for large builds — fly to any height and phase through your own construction to place blocks from inside. Combine with Infinite Building Materials for ultimate creative mode.
